I'm designing a logo for my mom's business, Bayside Custom Canvas, specializing in custom boat tops and other canvas needs. This is what I have so far. Still tweaking the idea a bit. For the general feeling, do you feel that the "b/boat" idea is clear or are you lost with the "ayside?"

The idea is good, but the boat does get lost with the ayside. I was a bit confused as to what it said. Maybe by adding a bit of a sail to the boat that wold look like the top arc of a b and a little wave at the bottom. That could make it both easier to read and more noticeable that the b is a boat. Just some ideas.
Thanks for the comments. Ryan, I think that is a great idea. I'll work with making the sail look more like a "b" and update the post with that iteration.
